I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

はどのレベルのRAID をデータベースサーバーのストレージとして利用すれば良い
のでしょうか？
これは信頼性や性能の要件、およびコストをトータルに勘案して決める必要が
あるので一概に正答はないのですが、まず採用できるものならば
でしょう。これはストライピングとミラーリングのいいとこどり方式だからで
す。しかし、最低構成に必要なディスクが多く最もコストが高いため、財布に余裕
がないと採用できません。
逆に、データベースとして絶対に採用してはならないのは、RAID0です。これ
は耐障害性が低いので、ディスクが 1 本壊れた瞬間に障害発生です。自宅のパソコ
ンを組み立てているのではないのですから、間違ってもこのようなセーフティネッ
トのない方式を使ってはいけません。
では、両極の中間に位置するRAID1と RAID5 についてはどうでしょうか？
まず、RAID1は、信頼性は強固なので、その点では重要なデータを格納する
