Liquid cooling
Liquid cooling is the process of using liquid as a circulatory cooling agent for the processor under operating loads. Rather than using a heat sink attached to a fan, a cooling agent or coolant is used for the same purpose. This coolant is circulated through a block that is mounted and attached to the processor. A fan, or fans, connected to the radiator is part of this circulatory loop. Cooling loops are available as branded all-in-one (AIO) units, as well as custom assemblies.
