I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installation procedure and testing
According to the official documentation, an ROCm installation requires performing the following Terminal-based tasks that are compatible with Ubuntu 18.04:
- Update your system and install libnuma-dev using the following commands:
sudo apt updatesudo apt dist-upgradesudo apt install libnuma-devsudo reboot
- Add the apt repository using the following commands:
wget -qO - http://repo.radeon.com/rocm/apt/debian/rocm.gpg.key | sudo apt-key add -echo 'deb [arch=amd64] http://repo.radeon.com/rocm/apt/debian/ xenial main' | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/rocm.list
