Hardware Testing

Hardware testing is divided into the following types for wearable devices.

• Wireless testing: Wireless testing focuses on the completeness, accuracy, reliability, and

speed of the data which Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other wireless technologies used for data

transmission of their wearable devices.

• Battery lifecycle testing: This is associated with the battery lifetime and covers the

time period from the factory installation up to the entire discharge. To test the battery,

dierent device modes are used—such as airplane mode. The testing especially tests the

duration of the battery which is necessary for wearable components o
