Man in the Middle Attack Tools

There are a number of tools which can be used to target others with a man in the middle attack.

Some of these are the following.

• Evilgrade

Evilgrade uses the poorly built implementations and sends forged updates and manipulates

the DNS trac of the victim through hostname redirections. It is available with libraries—

known as agents, DNS Server module, WebServer module, and an operational configuration

for quick pentests.

• Ettercap

It uses scripting features to infect, delete data in a connection, find protocol passwords such

as HTTP, POP, SSH1, HTTP, and gives fake SSL certifications to the aected users.
