In conventional software development setups, message brokers are used for communication

between dierent components for the middleware. Such message brokers, servers, administra-

tion, and directory services are not needed by Connext DDS. Instead, the complete messaging

mechanism is encompassed in libraries which are connected to applications. It powers messaging

on the back of a unified message bus. However, existing messaging infrastructures can also be

easily integrated if the user’s requires them to be added due to any mandatory requirement.
