Client Services
As we discussed in Chapter 2, Ceph Components and Services, Ceph clients can be categorized under three distinct interfaces, each of which we'll explore in this chapter:
- RBD
- CephFS
- RGW
In order to interact with Ceph we will first need to create a cluster to be at our disposal. Chapter 5, Deploying a Virtual Sandbox Cluster covers the process of setting up a working Ceph cluster. Please go through that step-by-step process if you haven't gone through it yet and don't have a working cluster.
