OpenStack is complex and evolving, so an accurate yet full accounting of configuring OpenStack for Ceph is difficult within the scope of this book.
At a high level, one creates Cinder, Glance, and RGW pools then installs Ceph packages, credentials, and configuration on OpenStack Nova hypervisors as well as Cinder and Glance controllers. See the following references for full details, but briefly:
# ceph-deploy install <name of OpenStack node> # ceph-deploy admin <name of OpenStack node>
