So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Cinder
Cinder provides an API for OpenStack instances to create and manage block devices, both as boot drives and supplemental volumes. Volumes are persistent and can be detached from one instance and attached to another as needed. Like Glance it also supports snapshots and enforces quotas. Cinder abstracts one or more storage backends so that the user does not need to know the specifics of the storage solution(s) in use.
