So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter, we brought up a functioning Ceph cluster from scratch and incrementally scaled it without taking it down. We leveraged the popular open source tools Vagrant and VirtualBox to help model a real Ceph cluster. In the next chapter, we'll explore a number of operations we can perform to customize, populate, and manage Ceph clusters.
