It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Glance
Glance provides and manages a library of base images -- ready-to-wear operating system installations that can be instantiated as new instances in minutes or seconds. More than a simple file retrieval system, Glance also allows users to create and manage image snapshots and upload and share their own customized operating system templates or software appliances. Glance can cache images locally on hypervisor nodes, but needs a backing central storage solution.
