When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
iChat is integrated with
Address Book: The photo you put in Address Book appears in your Buddy List, and the photo you put in the Buddy List appears in the Address Book. When an iChat Buddy is online, a green dot appears on her card.
Mail: You can send email to a Buddy through your Buddy List—Control-click (or right-click) on a Buddy name, then choose “Send Email….” And when a Buddy in your list is online, a green dot appears in the “Buddy Availability” column in Mail (if you have chosen to display that column).
iSight camera: Video conference with this camera, of course, but you can also click a button to take a picture of the person on the other end to use for his Buddy image (“Get Info” on a Buddy, double-click the photo well).
