Actions are the Building Blocks

You create a “workflow” using individual “actions.” Each action performs one specific task. These tasks link to each other and are dependent upon each other.

An action might:

• Require additional information. These actions have pop-up menus, fields, and checkboxes where you can specify the information. The action will clearly tell you what it needs.

• Require no additional information. These actions just do what they're told, like “Eject the CD” or “Quit Mail.”

• Pass information on to the next action. In a complex workflow, one action often passes information to the next action. The Description field, shown below, tells you whether an action requires input or provides output.
