Apply Parental Controls

There are several levels of limited user access you can create. Once you apply any of these parental controls, the user changes from a “standard” user to a “managed” user. Choose the level of access you want to control. Each of these options is explained on the following pages.

Email: Limit a user to exchanging email with only people of your choice.

iChat text, audio, and video messaging: Limit a user to exchanging any kind of chat with only people of your choice.

Safari: Limit web surfing to sites you select.

Dictionary: Limit the sorts of words a user can look up.

Application access: Limit the applications a person can use, plus how much of the Finder she will have control over.
