When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
To crop a PDF
1. | Open the pdf in Preview. |
2. | Single-click on the “Select Tool,” circled above. If the little tools are not visible in the window, drag the bottom-right corner of Preview to widen the window. Or go to the Tools menu and choose “Select Tool.” |
3. | Starting in an upper corner, drag diagonally downward across the pdf to select the part of it you want to save. The light area is what you want to save. |
4. | If you need to resize the cropped area, position the mouse directly over one of the eight “handles” you see on the corners and edges of the cropped area (see the previous page). Drag a handle to resize. |
5. | If you need to move the cropped area to another part of the page, position the pointer in the middle of the crop box. You'll notice ... |
