앞서 통합 테스트(
integration
test
)를 명시적으로 설명하지 않았으며, 이는 의도된 것이다. 필자는 다양한 사
람이 다양한 테스트 유형을 설명하기 위해 통합 테스트라는 용어를 자주 사용했다는 사실을 깨달았다. 어떤
경우에 통합 테스트는 두 서비스 간의 상호작용이나 코드와 데이터베이스 간의 연결만 담당한다. 다른 경우
에는 통합 테스트가 전체 엔드투엔드 테스트와 동일하게 사용된다. 이 장에서는 좀 더 명시적인 용어를 사용
하고자 노력했으며, 여러분이 ‘통합 테스트’라고 부르는 것이 무엇이든 여기서 사용하는 용어와 쉽게 일치할
수 있게 되길 바란다.
