Managing Your IDE Settings

On subsequent visits to Visual Studio (post-sign in), you go straight to the tool, and Visual Studio automatically signs you in. This way, on your behalf, Microsoft stores any customizations you make around development settings such as keyboard shortcuts or user interface (UI) themes. Settings are stored locally on your machine (c:\users\[user]\documents\visual studio 2015\settings) and synched in the cloud against your profile.
