Publishing a Project with InstallShield Limited Edition
Just as with ClickOnce, Visual Studio directly supports deployment of applications using the Windows Installer technology. The approach is different (as are the underlying technologies); Windows Installer deployments are created with the use of a separate project template and application (InstallShield).
Unfortunately, InstallShield Limited Edition for Visual Studio 2015 was not available in time for us to cover the content in this version of our book.
