It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Scaling up the App Service plan
When you notice that your application is consuming too many App Service plan resources, you can scale up the App Service plan. This gives it more resources so that it can fulfill the application's needs.

When you scale up an App Service plan, you get more hardware resources, such as CPU, memory, and storage.
You will also get more support for features such as the following:
- Custom domain/SSL
- The number of instances you can autoscale to
- The number of staging slots you can have
- The number of daily backups for your applications that you can make
- Traffic Manager
