Azure Container Instances, also called ACI, is a serverless container service from Microsoft. With ACI, you can easily run containers with a couple of clicks and in a matter of a few seconds.
ACI became generally available in April 2018 and is one of a kind in the public cloud market. Simply put, if you want to run a Docker container with ACI, you just supply basic details such as the Docker image, commands, environment variables, compute capacity, networking configuration, and so on and run a container without worrying about the underlying OS or other infrastructure components.
