So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Pushing Docker images to the Azure Container Registry
The Azure Container Registry (ACR) is a private Docker container registry that's hosted and managed by Microsoft Azure. The ACR is fully compatible with Docker and works in the same way, except that it's managed, hosted, and secured by Microsoft.
Let's create a new ACR and store the image we created to the ACR:
- Log in to the Azure portal (https://portal.azure.com).
- Click on Create a resource | Containers | Container Registry:
- Specify the configurations as follows:
