Creating a proxy

To show you that really anything goes, we're going to set up a proxy to https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/:

  1. Create a new Function App.
  2. Go to Proxies.
  3. Click the + New proxy button.
  4. Give your proxy a name, such as MyFirstProxy:

  1. Define a Route template. This is the path after the base URL. Put myfirstproxy here.
  2. We can also specify which HTTP methods are allowed. Select Selected methods and click the GET method.
  3. The backend URL is the URL that your proxy is actually going to call, so put https://microsoft.com here.
  4. Hit the Create button.
  5. Now that the proxy has been created, you'll get your proxy URL, so copy it and enter it ...
