Azure Site Recovery is the disaster recovery service that protects on-premise and Azure workloads against disaster. It is also used to migrate workloads from anywhere to Azure.
Azure Site Recovery (ASR) continuously replicates your VMs and physical servers to Azure or your secondary datacenter, which can then be used to fail-over workloads to a secondary location in the event of a disaster at the primary datacenter. Once everything is backed up and normal again at the primary site, you can reverse the replication flow, replicate the changes, and fall back to the primary site.
