Scalability

Azure provides the ability to scale your web apps. One of the possibilities is to scale out, where you can scale your web apps globally. Scaling out means adding nodes to, or removing nodes from, a web app. This way, the load time is decreased when the web app is accessed from different locations. The other option is to scale up. Scaling up means adding resources to, or removing resources from, a web app, such as CPU or memory. When scaling up, you switch to another pricing tier inside your app service plan or pick a different app service plan.
