Securing Azure SQL databases is critical to protecting your organization's database server. In this section, we'll be covering different ways to secure your Azure SQL database, such as the following:
- Firewall rules and virtual network access

- Transparent data encryption
- Advanced Data Security (ADS) for Azure SQL Databases
Please note that these are security capabilities specific to Azure SQL Services. Other traditional SQL security best practices such as Always Encryption and Dynamic Data Masking should be considered while planning security for your SQL Databases.
