Photographing sports in low light can be a real challenge. The most important thing to remember is that you need to freeze the action to capture that special moment. Getting a high enough shutter speed usually requires a lens that opens wide, along with a high ISO setting. Don’t worry about the digital noise that might be created, as it is better to get a sharp, in focus, action shot with noise than a blurry action shot without noise.
