If you are creating handmade illustrations of any sort, you often
need to transfer your chosen images to other substrates, such as
scratchboard or a rubber carving block.
The technique on the opposite page is quick and cheap, so it’s
great for images that are 100 percent of the size you want the fi nal
piece to be. But remember—you’re a digital designer; once you
have the fi nal product in any size, you can scan and reproduce it
as large as necessary.
To print onto tracing paper, tape the tracing paper onto a piece
of printer paper; tape across the top and 2" down each side, then
send it through the copier or printer.
