Cast paper with rag pulp
You can, of course, use your paper pulp that you made from
cotton or linen rags, as explained on pages 146–147.
Or try dryer lint from cotton or linen items.

I had an old yellow gingham napkin that was the
last of a set my kids grew up on. I just couldn’t
throw it away, which is a terrifi c thing because I
followed Carmen’s directions for cast paper and
made this beautiful piece with it (yes, this is the
same napkin in the paper on page 145).
I used a fancy baking pan as a mold. I don’t know
yet what kind of design project I’ll use it in, but
I’m sure the perfect thing will appear.
