Transfer Directly to Substrate
To transfer, you can use gel, polymer
medium, matte medium, Mod Podge,
acrylic paint, or even Elmer’s clear
Squeeze’N Caulk.
The image will be reversed, so make
sure you fi rst print it in reverse to
a laser printer or photocopy it in
reverse. White areas in the image
will disappear and the colors
beneath will show through, so keep
that in mind when placing the piece
to be transferred.
Paint your chosen medium directly
onto the substrate on which you
want to transfer the image. Not too
thick, but don’t be stingy.
Place the image face down into
the medium. Burnish it well. Let it
