When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

To make lips for the fi gure, make a
little oval shape out of white clay.
Then roll some tiny canes of red
clay with your fi ngers.
If you have a clay extruder, you
can use that to make canes.
Shape the canes around the white
oval and mold the mouth carefully.
A knitting needle makes a good
tool to smooth the corners of the
lips, or use one of your clay tools
or any other smooth-tipped tool
you have around the house/studio.
Very gently press the eyes, mouth,
and hair to the head. You may
have to carve o the backs of the
eyeballs with your clay blade or a
knife to make them fi t in the eye
sockets properly.
