We now turn our attention to the third scenario, illustrated in Figure 1.5. We assume that the
driver of the car is currently communicating via antenna 1, which is administered by the user’s
home provider. When the driver reaches the limit of the range of antenna 1, it is assumed the
only antennae within range belong to two separate providers, both of whom are different from
the user’s home provider. In order to begin communication via antenna 2 or antenna 3, the
