So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Neighbor Reports contain information from the MIB Table dot11RRMNeighborReportTable
that contains information concerning neighbor APs. The 802.11k standard does not stipulate
as to how the information in this table is derived by the AP. An STA requests a Neighbor
Report by sending a Neighbor Report Request Frame to the AP with which it is associated.
This information can be used by the STA to determine potential roaming candidates. In
Chapter 9 we discuss how this information can be used by the STA to improve its scanning
efficiency by only scanning on those channels where there are neighbor APs, and thus reduc-
ing the length of the discovery ...
