Observing an increase in retry counts due to transmission errors
A downward shift of the transmission rate due to the inability to communicate at
higher speeds
Too many missed beacons
Too many frames received with errors
A direct measurement of decreasing Radio Signal Strength, as measured by the RSSI
parameter
Different implementations may require one or more of these metrics to trigger a roam.
