It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Simple and Consistent
Simple sells. The less clutter, the cleaner the background, and the simpler the look, the better off your images will be. Photographing on a clean, white background lets the object you are selling pop off the screen and keeps the buyer’s attention on what you are selling.
The images need to be free of any borders, extra text or graphics, not just because they distract from the item for sale but also because they are not allowed on sites such as eBay. That’s right, eBay does not allow for borders or any other embellishment on images. There is a complete list of what is—and is not—allowed on eBay at the end of this ebook for reference.
