When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Surfboard
I photographed the surfboard down at the beach, propped up the way surfers prop up their boards. This might not mean anything to a non-surfer, but it sure will make sense to a surfer. I cleaned off the surf wax and wiped off most of the sand before propping the board up in the sand. I stared out shooting with a wide aperture to get the surfers in the background but kept the aperture wide so as not to have them in sharp focus. The remaining shots, with the board on the sand, include the surfboard’s specifications, the fins or skegs, and a slightly different view of the board with a minimized background.
