I wanted to show this small figurine from a variety of angles so that the buyer could see the front and back, which are different. The setup here was the same, except instead of a direct overhead angle, I photographed from a side angle to show the detail in each side. I then got in really close on the face to show the detail. In the close-up of the face, you can see that the background is gray. This is because the background was quite far away from the figure, and less light reached it during the exposure. This made the white background turn gray, but it doesn’t detract from the image.
