I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Exposure Compensation
Exposure compensation adjusts the exposure settings so you can purposely let in more light to overexpose the image or less light to underexpose the image. There are two ways to do this: with a built-in Exposure Compensation feature or in Manual mode.
The first way to apply exposure compensation is easy—as long as your camera has an Exposure Compensation button or menu setting. Using exposure compensation is really simple; you just press the Exposure Compensation button and either dial in + or – exposure. As you dial in positive exposure compensation, more light is let in and the exposure gets brighter. Dial in negative exposure compensation and the image gets darker.
