So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Photographing Medium-Sized Items
Working with Bigger Backdrops and More Light
In product photography, medium-sized items like a toaster or laptop are probably the easiest to shoot. You can use almost any lens and lighting setup. The basic idea is to keep the setups and images as simple as possible while using more light to evenly illuminate the subjects. The small LED panels used to shoot some of the small items just aren’t going to cut it anymore.
