I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Macro Photography
Macro photography is the general term used for close-up photography, but it is actually more than that. It refers to extreme close-up photography that requires special lenses and equipment. By definition, a true macro photograph is where the subject is recorded at a 1:1 ratio.
Showcasing the intricate pattern on this small piece of art glass required a Nikon 40mm micro lens. I was able to get in really close and capture the details, including the tiny air bubbles around the designs.
When shooting really small subjects, you have to get the lens close to the subject to fill the frame and reduce the amount of empty space. All ...
