I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Different Focal Lengths
The focal length of a lens doesn’t describe how long or short the lens is. Rather, it is the distance, measured in millimeters, from the optical center of the lens to the film or sensor when the lens is focused at infinity. That’s a lot of information that doesn’t really help you in making any decisions.
There are two things you need to know about focal lengths to decide what to use for an image. The first is that the focal length determines how much of the scene in front of the camera will be recorded in a photo. The smaller the focal length, the more of the scene it will record.
