Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) remote sensing has been widely used in applications of solid earth,

ecosystem, and cryosphere. Recognizing the importance of SAR remote sensing, many space

agencies have launched state- of- the- art sensors into space and planned for many unique feature

sensors in the future. The NASA- ISRO synthetic aperture radar (NISAR) mission is a unique

spaceborne SAR mission with dual- frequency capability that will be launched in the future. Similarly,
