12.6 RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

The study utilizes two different approaches for glacier velocity estimation: offset tracking

and DInSAR. These two approaches were chosen to be able to efciently measure the smaller

displacements (Potsdam Glacier) and larger displacements (PRG) expected on these two glaciers.

Offset tracking was employed on GRD product of Sentinel- 1 SAR for PRG, while a DInSAR-

based approach was used on the SLC product of Sentinel- 1 SAR for Potsdam Glacier. Satellite
