3.5 EXPERIMENT WITH SPACEBORNE DATA

This study was done on level 1.1 SLC RADARSAT- 2 repeat- pass PolInSAR data acquired over

the Dehradun region, India. The data for each acquisition consists of four single look complex

images in linear HH, HV, VH, and VV polarization. The data has been acquired over the Dehradun

region in Uttarakhand, India. The state capital, Dehradun, is located in the Doon valley. The

geographic extent of the study area lies between latitudes 29°58′ N and 31°2′ N and longitudes

77°34′ E and 78°18′ E. It lies between the Shivalik mountain range and the middle Himalayan
