• Add HPF data to each band of low- resolution data. The HPF image is weighted relative to the

global standard deviation of each low- resolution band.

• The fused image is stretched to match the mean and standard deviation of the low-

resolution image.

Therefore, the parameters that need to be considered for HPF fusion are value R, kernel size, and

the weight factor, which determines the crispness of the fused image.

In wavelet transform, the key element is the selection of the base waveform to be used. The base
