Polarization observed at a particular location can take the shape of an ellipse, line, or circle for

xed frequency waves. PolSAR identies targets based on relative backscatter from targets [32].

Urban areas can be differentiated based on strong double scattering. Urban areas with large azimuth

orientation angles (AOAs) give strong volumetric scattering showing similarity to vegetation [33]. If

the wall of the building is parallel to the ight direction of the SAR sensor, the AOA is 0o. The range
