15.6 CONCLUSIONS

This study extracted and evaluated the lineaments from DEMs generated from microwave data

and optical data of the Jahazpur area, Bhilwara. The results show that both C- band and L- band

microwave data are capable of generating good- quality DEMs and provided appropriate base-

line measurement during the selection of interferometric pairs. The accuracies of these DEMs are

commensurate with each other despite their intrinsic difference in spacing. The study of baseline

measurements of 144 m and 1,784 m shows that these are sufcient to generate accurate DEM

from Sentinel- 1A C- band data and ALOS PALSAR L- band data, respectively, in cases of mod-
