Different coherent and incoherent polarimetric decomposition techniques were applied, and the

results are summarized in Table 6.3.

Figure 6.5 shows the different polarimetric decomposition results of TerraSAR- X quad- pol

imagery, with different land use/ land cover features.

From Table 6.3 and Figure 6.5, it can be inferred that Sinclair’s decomposition is good for built-

up delineation besides other LULC features; hence, the red band of Sinclair’s decomposed RGB was

used for fusion with LISS- IV optical imagery. The results of data fusion are ...
