more acute when the wheat crop is harvested in north India. Both quad and dual PolSAR data were

able to minimize this ambiguity and gave improved and more accurate land cover classication as

compared to its optical counterpart. The quad PolSAR data was tried with several coherent and inco-

herent decomposition models.

It was observed that the fused product gave high classication accuracy with both machine learning

and object- based classication as compared to its optical counterpart. Moreover, there was the least
