So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

What if the candidate shows up late?
A candidate who is even modestly prepared will usually be
sure to arrive at your office 15 minutes early, to “get the lay of
the land,” freshen up, and calm down. Even if the unexpected
pops up—an accident occurs, the baby gets sick—a respon-
sible candidate will do one of three things:
f If he’s on his way and will be slightly late, he
should call (I sometimes think I’m the only per-
son in the world who manages to exist without a
cell phone).
f If she’s allowed enough extra time, she may deal
with the unexpected and still arrive on time. If
she’s smart, you won’t even know ...
