ome of the questions in this chapter will be viewed by a
segment of candidates as “throwaways,” the answers to
which are, for the most part, unimportant.
I don’t believe in “throwaways,” and I think every answer
tells a story or reveals another aspect of a candidate’s person-
ality or thinking processes.
So some of these questions, while seemingly innocent, may
well give you insights that the tougher questions didn’t. Al-
though they’re near the end of this book, they certainly don’t
have to come at the end of the interview.
